The techniques of PERT and CPM are being extensively used to solve not only phenomenal problems, such as those connected with missiles and space travel, but also simpler problems costing only few hundred dollars. The objective of this book is to explain what PERT and CPM are and how they can be profitably used to solve such management problems. The text assumes no previous knowledge of network analysis.
