In 1943, Sachchidananda Hiranand Vatsyayan ‘Agyeya’ formed a group of seven poets to write new poetry and compiled and edited Taar Saptak. The fourth Saptak is a collection of poems of seven Hindi poets edited by Agyeya. This poetry collection was first published in 1979. On the basis of the name, this book is linked to the collection of poems of seven poets of three Saptaks edited by Agyeya – Taar Saptak, Doosra Saptak and Tesira Saptak. It contains the works of Avadhesh Kumar, Rajkumar Kumbhaj, Swadesh Bharti, Nandkishore Acharya, Suman Raje, Shriram Verma, Rajendra Kishore.
