Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay was a prolific writer not only in Bengali literature but simultaneously in English. For a long time his English works were out of market. Sahitya Samsad feels that without his English works, ‘complete works’ will be valueless. After extensive research, Shri Jogesh Chandra Bagal compiled all his English writings, and Sahitya Samsad published this complete works edition of Bankim Rachanabali, incorporating it as the third part of the Bankim Rachanabali series.
