Asterix and Caesar’s Gift: Caesar gifts a perpetually drunk soldier the Gaulish Village, who sells it to an innkeeper for wine. The innkeeper arrives to claim the village as his own. On being denied it, he is pushed by his domineering wife to stand for election as chief, causing rivalries throughout the village. But this is just the beginning as the drunk soldier now also wants his gift back.
